This is pretty good stuff AND it so cheap - I get it at Dollarama - $1cnd for two 100 gm bars. It has the same list of ingredients of a similar bar that sells for $6cnd at Whole Foods! Posted by Pauline on 9 July 2007 ID: 161 Just tried one of these from Dollarama, they sell at .50 cents each, 2 for $1, for 100 grams. Its not that bad tasting, I think I would have to compare it directly to another bar. Its good enough. If I can limit myself to eating 1/4 of a bar, I will buy more. Otherwise, the large size of the bar, and the cheap price is NOT a good thing, says my chubby stomach which I am trying to shrink. Some of that other chocolate from Dollarama is inedible. Even a squirrel won't eat it. Posted by Chococheapo on 8 August 2007 ID: 162 I too buy Baron Dark Chocolate bars at Dollarama. Your bars ''are'' comparable to $5 AND $6 bars from anywhere else. In this day and age of overpricing and all the rest, my, is'nt it Great to see REAL'' VALUE BACK AGAIN. God Bless You!! Cheers!! Greg Posted by Greg Langille on 9 December 2007 ID: 163 I get it a Dollarama 2 for $1 Only like the dark chocolate I like this chocolate very good value nice and creamy Don;t stop making it!! Posted by Linda Manser on 9 June 2008 ID: 164 I came by your products in Nigeria through a friend whose brother came home with it. I must confess its among the best I have ever tasted. I was wondering if we could do business together as I will like to represent your company down here in Africa or nigeria. Please I am expecting your response. Posted by IGWE N. IGWE on 13 June 2008 ID: 165 I bought the 70% cocoa,100gr. Baron excellent dark chocolate bar recently and found it very, very good and more than reasonably priced. There is a Best Before date which I would like to have clarified--- 8 059 What does it stand for? In your "nutrition facts" description, you translated "6 pieces" of chocolat for : "6 tasse". The problem is that a TASSE in french means a CUP in english. Too bad, because it would be so fun that 6 cups of chocolat would contain only 203 calories... Your chocolat is very good, I can't pass a day without eating some. Posted by Danielle Bouchard on 1 December 2008 ID: 227 I wish to know if Le Baron dark chocolate is produced in China ? Posted by Denise Robitaille on 7 December 2008 ID: 229 Yes,it's great value. However, some folk may be put off by the fact that no country of manufacture is printed on the package. There is address info.which seems to be in Polish but many people will suspect this product is Chinese because so much dollar store stuff is from China and most of us do not trust Chinese food not to be tainted with impurities. To me at least,Polish origin is a very strong plus for any food or beverage! Posted by J.R.Moss on 11 December 2008 ID: 231 This company is definitely Polish. They have an english version of their website which details exactly where their product is made and to what standards, so nobody should be concerned about food impurities. Personally, I love Baron chocolate, both kinds, which I also get at Dollarama. It's better than most of the commercial brands that you see in stores, and at 2 for $1, it may be the last good deal in the country. Posted by Don on 11 June 2009 ID: 311 I bought this chocolate bars to use them as my wedding place cards. I just wrapped them with scrapbook papper. They where a hit. People loved them Posted by Felicity on 23 July 2009 ID: 332 man, I eat about 5 of these every week, from Dollarama, where they often sell-out! Keep that stock coming! Tip: You can put a little pure peanut butter on some of the squares, very nice. And its made in Poland, it says so on the wrapper. Its fresh too, expiry date 9 months from purchase date. Posted by man on 7 August 2009 ID: 354 Regretfully, the 100g Baron dark chocolate bars (45% cocao), at 2 for 1$, are no longer available at my local Dollarama stores (Montreal), although the 70% is (still one for a $). The staff do not know if they will receive more of the 45% cacao bars in the future. Does anyone know of any other outlets/websites where they can be purchased, and at what price? Thank you. Posted by Robert Barnhurst on 29 September 2009 ID: 390 We too have been buying these bars in winnipeg but the dollarama said the the manufacturer will not be sending any more . Maybe everyone should contact them !! Posted by janice on 23 November 2009 ID: 406 have samples from trade show in omaha, neb..USA...where is your wholesale contact in usa with terms/conditions...phone number/contacts. Thank You Posted by chase greeting cards on 3 March 2010 ID: 421 Seems as the chocolate is a lot cheaper at Dollarama. Where I come from, there is only a Dollar City and they sell it $1 apiece. Also, does anybody happen to know how long it takes to melt a piece of Baron Posted by Clarence Caldsman on 11 January 2012 ID: 566 I bought a Baron Dark Chocolate bar that has the date of 01 12 2012. Isn't this past the "Use before date". Is it too old to eat? Posted by Nancy B on 28 July 2012 ID: 592 Just tried dark choclet peppermint truffles. You go to hell go to hell and you die.
