Oliver Coppeneur founded Coppeneur Chocolates in 1993. Bruce Toy discovered Coppeneur during an epicurean travel adventure through Europe in 2004. Together they enjoy an excellent reputation as a manufacturer of impecable cocoa creations.

In the East Highlands of Java, the best pale Criollo in Indonesia is grown. Extraordinary flavours are harvested there on just 16 plantations operated by a small but exclusive cooperative. The character of the pale cocoa is distinguished by a fresh tartness and an intense bouquet of citrus fruits. Milky, with a strong cocoa note in harmony with a fine tartness and intense fruitiness.

Rare Criollo cocoa bean from the sub-type Ocumare 61 from the Ocumare valley. Mildly spicy, slight peaty aroma with flavour overtones of almonds and cherries.
