We bought these beans from Hacienda Victoria, a 500-hectar estate in Guayas Ecuador, dedicated to growing Ecuador's fine Arriba Nacional cacao.
The beans are lightly fermented, have low acidity and a beautiful delicate floral aroma, perfect for a high percentage bar.
This bar is low in sugar yet with no bitterness. It has a strong cacao flavour with hints of citrus and nuts. Enjoy it with a rich red wine.
