Made from Trinitarios, a variety from nearby Trinidad, this chocolate is true to the varietal; complex with hints of tangy tropical fruits and wood, then transitions to dried fruit and on to a light dry finish. Each vintage of Chocolatour is unique in its flavor profile. The overall flavor and the distinct flavor notes will continue to develop with time, however it is excellent for eating now.

Made from Trinitarios, a variety from Trinidad, this chocolate is true to the varietal; complex with hints of fruit. The aroma is like a glass of wine. The flavor starts with hints of tangy tropical fruits and wood, then transitions to dried fruit and on to a light dry finish.

This chocolate from Ecuador owes a lot of its unique flavor to the beans known as Ariba or Nacional. It starts with a classic light roasted cocoa flavor note and gives way to intriguing mildly acidic flavors that develop into tropical fruit flavors evocative of chocolate covered banana and then taper off to a mild tannic note reminiscent of a good cup of tea.

Slight sweetness transitions to milk tangy and long cocoa flavors and then on to hints of cookie and coffee in the finish. Each vintage of Chocolatour is unique in its flavor profile. The overall flavor and the distinct flavor notes will continue to develop with time. Historically, the Grenada origin has developed the most flavor over time, so this might be one to age a while before eating.
