Aloha! We are Ben and Robin. We are the hosts of Kīlauea Jungle Oasis, and care takers of this farm. We offer farm tours, homegrown chocolate, as well as some other treats to take home. It is our goal to provide our guests with an unforgettable experience! We will learn how we make chocolate from farm grown cacao, tropical agriculture, native Hawai‘ian plants, the farming history of Kīlauea, exotic fruit, and how to be more sustainable in your own home. Ben has a double degree from University of Victoria, BC in environmental studies and biology. He has spent the last 9 years farming in Hawaiʻi and is passionate about permaculture, sustainability, and food security. Robin is born and raised in Kilauea. She has spent the last 12 years working as a licensed massage therapist, yoga instructor, and esthetician, with a focus in thai massage and herbalism to support health and vitality. We are both passionate about nature and protecting our precious resources, our responsibility to the āina.
