Maker Comments | Madagascar, one of our first and favourite origins, holds a special place at Soma with its profoundly fruity profile. For people looking for a bar with very clear red fruit notes or new users as a gateway chocolate switching to single orgin [sic] chocolate. The organic, crimson coloured beans have a long history tied to French colonial times in Madagascar. The plantations where it is grown are in the Sambirano region named after the river running from the foothills of Madagascar's highest peak through the Valley. Notes: raspberries, cherries, citrus. |
