Maker Comments | In Hawaiian, Kanahiku means "Seventy" and it is the name of our Signature Dark bar. The only two ingredients are 70% estate-grown cacao and 30% organic cane sugar. This was the first bar we ever made at Lonohana, back in 2014, and we are humbled by it being named one of the best bars made in America by the Good Food Awards. Our careful roast ensures that this chocolate holds its balance of flavors, with deep cocoa undertones and bright berry fruit, and an almost everlasting finish, a trademark of the beans from our cacao farm on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. |
