Cheat #1: Flow の方向へ Veer をして; Any Shoulder 1/2 Tag をします.

Cheat #2: Sweep 1/4 をして; Sweep 1/4 で追いかけている人が Diagonal Pull By (外側の手で) をします.

訳者注: Cheat (チート) とは, "規則を破る, ごまかす" という意味で, square dance では, 本来の動きではなく別の動きをすることに使われます.

Ceder Square Dance System (CSDS) が使う By Golly の代替の定義: 向かい合ったカップルから, 全ての人の Roll の方向が同じとき (すなわち, もし次のコールが Roll だったときに, 全員が 1/4 Right または 1/4 Left となるとき), Roll の方向が右の場合は Veer Left and 1/2 Tag を, 他の場合の Roll の方向が左の場合は Veer Right and Left 1/2 Tag をします. この一般化された定義により, By Golly を Couple Up や, Right & Left Thru などのコールのあとに使うことができます.
