Non-designated dancers do their part of the given call, "dragging" (or pulling) the designated dancers along with them.

Suggested syntax:

Drag The anyone (For A) anything

注釈:
  • Unless otherwise specified, designated dancers are "dragged" by the dancer who is their partner within the overall formation.
  • Designated (dragged) dancers hold onto their partner's hand throughout the duration of the call.
  • Designated (dragged) dancers should try to track the movement of the dancer dragging them so that their traffic pattern can be anticipated.
  • Non-designated dancers do the call, ending in their normal ending position. No additional "breathing" is done to allow for the dragged dancer. The dragged dancer simply ends adjacent to the dancer who dragged them.
  • Ah So is the same as Drag The Centers (For A) Wheel & Deal.

In the following diagrams, = Boy and = Girl.
Drag The Girls For A Ping Pong Circulate:

before

Boys do a normal Ping Pong Circulate, holding onto the adjacent Girl.

For the Centers, this amounts to a Cross Concentric Ah So; for the Outsides, this amounts to a Cross Concentric Veer Left.

Drag The Center Girls: 3 By 1 Triangle Circulate:

before
Drag The Boys: Once Removed Diamond Circulate:

before
Drag The Boys For A Walk Out To A Wave:

before

(Choreographically equivalent to Breaker 3)

Centers Drag The Girls: All Twist The Line:

before
Drag The Center Girls: Couple Up:

before

Note to callers: Since dragging a dancer backward can often result in awkward choreography, be careful when applying this concept.
