(done)

Hint: From Promenade, the designated Couple (those acting as Leaders) should continue Promenading until squared off to a wall and then 1/2 Press Ahead as the others bend in behind them to form Parallel Two-Faced Lines, then everyone Link Up. Dancing the call in this manner guarantees that the ending formation will be squared off to the walls. EN: 50

Note: some people believe that Promenade is a legitimate starting formation for any call that can be done from Parallel Two-Faced Lines and is defined in terms of Leaders and Trailers. The calls commonly used in this way include Cast A Shadow, Link Up, and Wheel The Ocean | SeaEN: 60

The following calls (C3 and below) could also be called from Promenade: EN: 70

Boomerang Busy anything Criss Cross The Shadow
Flare Out To A Line Gee Whiz Keep Busy
Mini-Busy Revolve To A Wave Rip Off
Shake & Rattle Turn To A Line Vertical Tag The Line
Vertical anything

Link Up But anything (Linking anything) [C4] (David Schmitz):
From Parallel Two-Faced Lines. Leaders Link Up as Trailers Step Ahead to form a compact formation ("normalize") and do the anything call. This is analogous to Busy anything [C3B]. EN: 257

direction Anchor fraction [C4]:
From a Couple. Using the dancer nearest the given direction as the pivot point, Cast Off the given fraction toward the given direction. The pivot dancer starts and ends on the same floor spot. There is neither a default direction nor a default fraction for this call. EN: 258
