The
Open Database window opens a database, or allows several database
functions to be performed.
This window can be invoked from the
Main Window
via the 'Database' button then selecting 'Open Existing Database',
or via menu option 'File | Database | Open Existing Database'.
A database contains the dancer table and rotations.
In general, you only need one database.
Multiple databases allows the flexibility to create database backups,
or to use a database from another computer without disturbing existing databases.
Select a database to open, then press the Open Database button,
or press the Cancel button to close the window.
Toolbar buttons:

- Creates a new database after prompting for a database name.
|
|
- Edits the name of the selected database.
|
|
- Copies the selected database to a specified file pathname.
|
|
- After confirmation, deletes the selected database.
|
|
- Compacts and repairs the selected database, often resulting in a significant decrease in filesize.
|
|
- Displays the Windows File Properties dialog box for the selected database.
|
|
- Opens the Database Folder with a Windows File Explorer.
|
|
- Uploads the selected database to www.ceder.net for debugging purposes.
After confirmation, the database is uploaded, then you are asked
to send Vic an email message detailing the issue to be debugged

- Invokles the Customize Grid dialog box.
|
|
- Displays this help page.
