About Csds2

The About Csds2 dialog box shows the current CSDS version, the month and year of the release, how to contact the author, and your license information.

This dialog box is invoked via the CSDS main menu option 'Help | About Csds2'.

There are two helpful buttons:

• opens the folder containing the CSDS executable file (Csds2.exe).
  This folder also contains:
  • All DLLs (dynamic link libraries) and other system files required by CSDS
  • The CSDS error log (ErrorLog.txt)
  • Previous versions of CSDS (Csds2old<N.NN>.exe)
  When initially installed, Windows places this folder in a rather obscure location.
  If you move the contents of this folder to a new folder such as C:\CsdsExe, then it's easy to copy CSDS to a new computer by just copying both the EXE folder and the Application Data Folder to the new computer.
   
• opens the application data folder for CSDS.
  • This folder contains all CSDS data and databases (other than perhaps your music files and personal cue sheets).
  • Knowing the location of this folder is necessary when copying CSDS to another computer.
