The Tip Display window shows the squares to which each dancer is assigned.

Couples are shown in black and paired singles are shown in blue (for Boy) and maroon (for Girl). These default colors may be changed in the Tip Display - Customize window. Those sitting out are displayed on the right. If a sit-out was specifically requested, the dancer name is followed by a circled R (®).

There are two different views: by Square, and by Name.

Tip menu:

• Generate next tip - Generates the next tip. This is the same as closing the Tip Display window, then selecting Generate Next Tip.
   
• Next tip is OPEN - Makes the next tip an Open Tip.
   
• Regenerate tip - after confirmation, regenerates the current tip.
   
• Undo tip - After confirmation, undoes the current tip and returns to the Rotation Window.
   
• Specify tip number - allows selection of which tip to display
   
• First tip - displays the first tip.
   
• Previous tip - displays the tip prior to the current tip.
   
• Next tip - displays the tip after the current tip.
   
• Last tip - displays the last tip.
   
• Protect mode - after confirmation, turns on 'Protect mode' where the rotation program ignores most key strokes and mouse actions until protect mode is turned off via Ctrl+C.
   
• Close - closes this window, and returns to the Rotation Window.

Swap menu:

Adjusts dancers within the current tip.

• Swap two squares - swaps two selected squares within the current tip.
   
• Swap two couples - swaps two selected couples within the current tip.
   
• Swap two boys - swaps two selected boys, who do not necessarily have to be in the current tip.
   
• Swap two girls - swaps two selected girls, who do not necessarily have to be in the current tip.
   
• Swap roles in a couple - switches roles within a selected couple for the current tip.
