The
Getin/Getout - View a Record window displays a specific record within a selected getin/getout database.
The name of the getin/getout database, the record number, and master ID (if any) are displayed within the window title.
You can navigate forward or backward within the record set as well as jump to specific records within the
database. The viewed record can be edited, parsed, proofread, deleted (or un-deleted), or marked as
used. Also, a new record can be created.

Change database and/or index F8
Change database changes the current database. For example, if you are viewing getouts and
find a particularly nice one, you may wish to write an opening biggie with it. To do so, change
the database to the GETIN database and the program then displays the first record within the
GETIN database with the same formation. You can then navigate to subsequent records via
PgDn or F2.
-
Use normally Ctrl+U
Increments one of the count fields within the record. The count fields indicate the
number of times that the getin/getout record was used within your sequences.
-
Use as quickie Ctrl+K
Use as quickie Ctrl+Q increments the 'Quickie count' of the current record by 1. The 'Quickie
count' is intended to count how many times the record was used within an 'opening biggie'. You
should increment the quickie count whenever you use a particular getin or getout record within an
opening biggie sequence. The quick count is particularly useful when automatically generating
opening biggies, since you can easily determine which getins and getouts have
already been used in opening biggies.
-
Show progression
Shows the progression for this getin/getout.
-
Formation bitmap Ctrl+B
Shows the formation bitmap for this getin/getout.
