Definition:
 

One dancer facing another: On a Left Q, pass left shoulders and Quarter Left. On a Right Q, pass right shoulders and Quarter Right. Finishes in a mini wave or two person wave.

COMMENT: Same movement, three different names. [Ed. note: Mr. King is referring to Left/Right Q, Left Slide Across/Slide Across, and Slip Thru.]

Definition:
 

From couples back to back: All dancers individually right-face U-turn back (Right Roll or Roll Right to a Wave) to form a right-handed wave with the dancers who were behind them. On Left Roll or Roll Left to a Wave, dancers make a left-face U-turn back to form a left-hand wave with dancers behind them. From a formation of one couple behind another: On the call Leads Roll Right or Left to a Wave, the lead dancers only roll in the direction indicated to form a right or left hand wave with trailers.

From parallel waves: Ends 1/2 Zoom and Cast 3/4; lead [out-facing] centers Cloverleaf as trailing [in-facing] centers Extend and Hinge; all Extend to columns.

Shadow To A Z - Same as above except omit the final Extend.

Definition:
 

From a tidal two-faced line: Each line of 4 do a 3/4 Tag the Line. (This gives two columns of 3 and a lone outfacing dancer on each end.) Now all finish like a Coordinate (center 6 Trade, very center two dancers walk diagonally ahead while lone outside dancers turn toward their column and move up to the far outside). End in parallel two-faced lines.
