- In current terminology, this is an All Eight Left Spin the Top started with the corner lady. In 1945, however (and even today) it was a challenging call with directional cues. "Allemande left and the ladies star, the men promenade the outside bar; Allemande left, the men star right, the girls promenade in the middle of the night; Allemande left with the old left hand, here we go Right and Left Grand."
Note: All Allemandes are done with the same person.
