 Cross And Divide

From lines facing in or parallel waves: Ends face out as the centers "Crosstrail" with each other (no Pass Thru) and walk forward to form lines facing out. (From regular lines, the centers remain centers.) From waves, the centers do a Single Hinge type action and walk ahead (in place of the Crosstrail). Centers originally facing in go to the centers of new lines. Centers originally facing out go to the ends of new lines.

 Ends/Centers Run; Boys/Girls Run

Definition:

Designated dancers walk forward in a small arc into adjacent dancer's position (reversing facing direction) as adjacent dancer slides or side-steps into the runner's vacated position without turning. Those doing the run will always move around a contrasting person--Ends run around centers; centers run around ends; girls run around boys; boys run around girls. In lines or waves, the runners remain in their own half of that line or wave.
