 Lift Off

Definition:

From a squared set: Actives are facing out, inactives facing in. For example, Heads Pass Thru and Lift Off. Those facing out (the heads) Cast Right one quarter. Side ladies cross to the left and "bump" head ladies (from behind) as those head ladies roll to the right and become the partners of the side men (to their left) who cross the set, veering left as the head men and a new girl promenade (wrong way) to the ends of parallel two faced lines. Sides face out, heads face in--heads are near home position.

Ron Schneider and Lee Kopman 1976
