Spin Chain And Lock The Deucey

Definition:

From parallel waves or eight chain thru formation: All arm turn half, new centers arm turn 3/4. The wave across the set now does a Lock It. The two outside dancers facing the center wave step forward to become the ends of a six hand wave as the other two outside dancers start walking forward along the wave and all finish like a Relay The Deucey (See Challenge Dancing's Basic Calls). Six in the wave arm swing half by the right, those who can (four) swing half by the left as the ends are bumped out of place by the other circulating outsiders and begin to circulate themselves. New six hand wave arm swings by the right halfway then the center four arm swing 3/4 as the outsiders move up to the ends of new waves. Finishes as parallel waves.

Jerry Salisbury 1973
