Exchange To A Column (or Anything)

Definition:

From various formations: Start as in Exchange the "Original formation" i.e. (Split) Circulate in the starting formation until passing the crossover point; as dancers cross over, they immediately start Circulating in the named Anything formation. For example -

Exchange To A Column - From parallel waves: All Split Circulate until each dancer in turn becomes a trailing center; trailing centers 1/2 Split Circulate, Hinge, and Extend (no hands) and continue to do Column Circulates until a total of four (Split) Circulates (including the center crossing action) have been done. When started from formations with very centers, those very centers lead off like an Exchange the Diamond, going around the other half of the formation. When the formation does not have very centers the call starts with a 1/2 Split Circulate (which gives very centers) and continues like Exchange the Diamond.
