 Dixie Star

Definition:

Version #1

From a file of two dancers splitting an inactive couple: The lead person splits the inactives, barely passing thru. The trailing dancer steps up to the inactives and before passing through, all four form a right hand star. (Vic Willson [date?])

Version #2

From facing couples: Two ladies right hand star 3/4. Men now move into the star and it turns 3/4 more. All turn to face the middle. Finishes with facing couples. (Mike Driscoll 1970)
