 Spin Star Thru

Definition:

Version #1

From facing couples or a wave: Do a Spin the Top and as the ends (girls) move up they Star Thru with the men finishing the 3/4 arm turn in the center. If girls are in the center, it should be a Slide Thru rather than a Star Thru. Finishes with couples facing or couples back to back. (author unknown)

Version #2

From eight chain thru formation or parallel waves: Spin Chain thru but finish with a Star Thru (or Slide Thru) instead of forming waves. Finishes with lines facing in or out. (Dick Bayer 1969)

COMMENT: One involves a Spin the Top and the other a Spin Chain Thru.

Dick Bayer 1969
