 Star Wheel

Definition:

Version #1

Boy faces girl: Star Thru, then Single Wheel. Finishes with one dancer behind the other. (author unknown)

Version #2

From a squared set: Actives make a left hand four hand star and turn it halfway. Lead person in each pair (Belle) leads out of the star and that person's partner moves up so the couple is in promenade position. Each couple now promenades one quarter (counterclockwise) and then wheels in behind the inactive couples. Finishes in double pass thru formation. (Bill Roundtree 1964)
