 Allemande A

Definition:

From Grand Right and Left formation: (The call went "Allemande Left and Allemande A, Go Right and Left with a Half Sashay. Then Resashay go all the Way Around"). After Allemanding, give a right to partner and pull by, then touch hands with the next and walk by each other, both then facing into the center (these two are now half sashayed). Then retrace steps so the man is once more on the left side of this girl (his right-hand lady) and the man circles in front of that girl and all the way around her (as she circles around him) and all return to home spot.

Joel Orme 1950
