The action of a TRIPLE TRADE can be started from several formations. The basic get aquainted formation is the end to end two face line. The center three pairs will trade with the adjacent dancer.

Box 1-4....Swing thru....Boys run....Couples hinge....Triple trade..(two pairs of girls trade-center boys trade)...Couples hinge....Wheel & deal....Pass thru....Left alle.

Another formation where TRIPLE TRADE can be used is from an eight hand ocean wave (tidal wave). The center three pairs will trade with the adjacent dancers.

1P-2P....Do sa doe to an ocean wave. Balance in your tidal wave.. Triple trade.. (two pairs of girls trade with left hands, center boys trade with right hands)...Right & left thru...Star thru....Dive thru....Square thru 3/4....Left alle...sd box 1-4

The third formation where TRIPLE TRADE can be applied is from point to point Diamonds. This formation is a little more challenging so be ready with a good presentation.

1P-2P....Swing thru....Boys run....Girls hinge....Check Your Diamond Diamond Circulate....Triple trade....(the boys trade with right hands & center two girls trade with left hands) Reforms point to point diamonds.....Diamond circulate....Girls cast off 3/4....Wheel & deel....Slide thru....Square thru 3/4....Trade by....Left alle...
