 Alternate Teacup Chain

Definition:

A very difficult Teacup pattern in which girls and men alternate taking each other's parts. Head ladies center for a 3/4 right-hand star, side ladies to the heads for a right arm turn. All do a full turn around and the head men go in to star left once and a quarter while the side men go one position to the right for a right arm turn. All do a full turn and the new head ladies star left once and a quarter while the new side ladies move one position to the right for a left arm turn. All do a full turn and the new head men go in for a 3/4 right hand star, new side men move to the right. All turn original partners left and take the next call.

Chuck McDowell 1965
