Profile in Callers and Cuers Dale started calling in 1975 in Southern California where he taught 3 - 4 beginners classes a week and called for numerous club dances in California, Arizona, and Nevada. Dale also was the featured caller for Festivals, State Conventions, and National Conventions. Even with his busy schedule, Dale found the time to write and Record for D & R Records and Windsor Records.
In 1990 he moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to become a full time traveling caller. He called and toured all over Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Texas, Colorado, Nebraska, Idaho, Montana and Washington. He also started one of the biggest Plus club in Tulsa "The Tulsa Crossfire" and an Advanced club, "The Cast-A-Ways".
In 1996 the Islander RV Resort in Lake Havasu City, Arizona hired Dale to be their resident caller and call for their Winter Square Dance program. In 1999 he was hired by Lionshead RV Resort to do their Summer Square Dance program in West Yellowstone, Montana.
In 2005, Canyon Vista's RV Resort in Gold Canyon, Arizona hired Dale to create a Winter Square Dance program. Dale was also the caller and instructor for the Bucks & Bows in Scottsdale, AZ.
In 2006 Dale became part of the Apache Trail Callers Association, which is in Apache Junction and Mesa, Arizona.
Dale still tours and travels in the Spring, Summer and Fall and has his Winter program always trying to improve.
