From Steve: I've had a love affair with square dancing since my mother asked me to "finish" the square dance class she and my dad had started when I was a teen. Within six months I was learning how to call! Over the next 40 years I have called in 28 states and 5 countries, 30 of those years spent as a full-time caller, from beginner through Challenge 1 levels. Recording square dance music has also been a part of my life. I have recorded for Windsor Records, Wild West Records, Gold Wing Records, where I was a co-owner/producer. I have a bachelor of science in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from San Diego State University and am retired from Petco's finance division. My wife, Debbie, and I have been blessed with two children and four grandchildren. I am honored to be the caller for the Valley Twirlers Square Dance Club. I know we have a remarkable future in store for us, as its members love square dancing as much as I do!
