Caller Jerry Schatzer passed away on Sept. 2, 1986 after a lengthy illness. A prominent caller in the east, Jerry gave up a future in electronics when he moved to southern California and built a strong program of clubs, classes and workshops. Jerry served on the Callerlab Board of Governors. Jerry is survived by his parents, John and Beulah Schatzer, and a brother Michael, all of Jefferson City, Mo. A scholarship fund has been established in memory of Jerry.
