I just received your C1 & C2 book from my wife, Sandy, for Christmas.
On page i you ask for comments; well, . . . OK.
I have some comments and suggestions.
Most are things that are peculiar to me and you don't need to take seriously.
One error:
Page 219. In the middle figure, there are 2 "b"s and no "d".
One printing error:
The page numbers are on the top outside corner of each page.
However, after page 84, three blank pages are inserted and now the following pages
have the page number on the inside next to the spiral binding. Then page 147 is missing
(page 146 and page 148 are on the opposite sides of the same page). But now, the page
numbers are again on the outside corner of the page. This results in "Relocate the Diamond"
being missing. It is a good thing that I am only interested in C1; at least for now.
Suggestions:
1. Separate the book into Part 1, C1 calls and part 2, C2 calls.
Since most people are learning one level at a time, this would make the instructions easier to access.
However, by having both levels in the same book, it saves the cost of buying separate books for each level.
2. Pg 15. The title is "2/3 Recycle" but the 3 parts and the figures are for "Recycle".
It is not immediately obvious where 2/3 recycle stops. (Yea, I know, its 2/3rds of full recycle)
Maybe adding "completed" under the 3rd figure (2/3 Recycle) and "Recycle completed" under the 4th figure would help.
3. Pg 17. I added lines between the dancers in the triangles and arrow heads to indicate the direction of the circulate.
Yea, I know this is picky.
4. Pg. 20. I added a dashed line box around the outside 2 dancers (top and bottom) to indicate they are working together.
5. Pg. 26. I added lines between the Xs in a box and between the Os in a box to emphasize the formation.
6. Pg. 102. I added lines between the Xs in a diamond and between the Os in a triangle to also emphasize the formation.
7. Pg. 117. I also added lines to show the path of the circulate and arrows to show direction.
8. Pg. 218. The initial definition, 2nd paragraph, is confusing. (accurate but confusing)
The definition following Notes: is much clearer.
9. Pg. Index. It would be nice to indicate the level of the call in the index.
or have a separate index for each level in part 1 and part 2..
You have produced a very comprehensive book well worth the investment.
