I thought only triples lines/waves working forward/backward were on the C3B list,
but the definitions have triple boxes working together/apart/left/right as well.
Do I just have a bad idea of what's on the list?

You are correct - only Lines/Waves working Forward/Backward are on C3B.
I have made a note to add a clarification statement.
Personally, I also use Columns working Right/Left at C3B.
