Notes:
  • At the A2-level (i.e., from normal Columns), "normalize" means to Circulate one position to form a Center Box. At other levels, "normalize" means to step forward to form a compact formation. "Normalize" is dependent upon the starting formation and the facing directions of dancers within that formation. A "normalize" could be a 1/2 Circulate, a full Circulate, or a Circulate 1 & 1/2. EN: 30
  • The First Two (#1 and #2) can alternatively think about their part as any of the following: EN: 40
    • From R-H Columns: Track 2 & Face In. EN: 50
    • Single File Promenade (toward facing direction) a little less than 1/2 way and Face In. EN: 60
    • Do 3 Column Circulates, taking a wider path than normal, then Face In. CALLERLAB describes the movement in this manner. EN: 70

The following examples illustrate how "normalize" works. These instances of Transfer And are primarily only used at C1 and above since the starting formations are T-Boned. EN: 80
